o no! so sorry. we too have been painting, our “new” room. there are till some touch ups to be done. first day is always fun, but the next, and the next… it gets tedious. SEVEN layers!

I support this bill so children with disabilities that requires “habilitative” therapy will get proper care.

That’s a great idea! We’re doing that too in our house, only we’re moving around walls and whole rooms instead of furniture. When that’s done we’ll have a playdate!

at 16 months Amie would not go to sleep at night. She was up till 12 sometimes, fighting. So we took away nap and it became easier. You lose those two hours, but the evenings are so much more serene, the way it should be! Good decision!

I’m glad that you found the post helpful! I know that I am comforted when I hear that I am not alone. We have learned many ways of coping, and I am sure that you will as well. (Finding a good OT was one of the best decisions we ever made and changed our daughter’s life dramatically.) I hope that you keep coming back to read more about life with SPD.

I came across your site while googling siblings and spd. My son has been diagnosed with spd and we are just starting to get a glimps of the repercusions this is going to have on our life. I really identified with what you had to say and found this comforting in some way. Thank you for sharing.
