I am so excited that it is December! I’m not sure how we got here so fast, but this is such a wonderful time of year filled with memory-making, family, and friends. Today my dad came to visit to help me get the Christmas decorations out of the attic and get caught up on the cleaning after Thanksgiving. We had a very special day with the kids today. We even put out a few of the decorations together, which was very exciting for the kids!

The best part about Christmas this year is that it is starting to make sense to C4 now. She has lots of questions for me and wants to talk about it all of the time. Tonight we read a bunch of Christmas books. Her excitement is going to fuel the whole family’s fervor for the season!

C4 is so excited that she thinks that Christmas is coming tomorrow. This is where my Advent calendar comes in to rescue the whole family! Not only does it give C4 a concrete way to understand when the big day is, but it also gives our family a month of fun things to do together and time to learn more about Jesus as a family. I am anxious to see how it works out this year. I will keep you posted!
