Mommy Voted

Today I voted! Did you? My children and I brought my mother-in-law, too. It was good because the kids were able to see that Mommy and Grandma vote, showing how important it is to take part in the whole process. I love that there were two women voting with two girls – women’s suffrage at its best! C4 voted at school and was very proud of herself for participating in the voting process!
No matter who our next president is, this whole election is making history. It is pretty exciting to think that we are living in a time that will be looked back on as a big event. I hope that, as a mother, I can convey the impact of this particular event one day, and hopefully, my kids will remember that their mom was part of it by casting her vote. Isn’t that what we strive for as mothers – to be great models for our children?
